Does your company host or create social media content? Do company policies regarding electronic communications address employee use of social media channels for business purposes? Given that most social media data resides outside the company, in addition to presenting opportunities for efficient and widespread communications, these channels also present challenges for companies that may be faced with having to identify, collect, and produce such information in litigation.
