Previous Professional Experience

  • Worked as a Legislative Assistant for the House Committee on Ways and Means in Washington, DC
    • Member of the waste, fraud, and abuse investigation team, focusing on tax and health issues
    • Took an active role in Committee hearings addressing Medicare fraud, abuse of IRS tax credits, and audits of the IRS’s implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
  • Worked as a Legislative Correspondent for Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito and addressed constituent concerns in the areas of health care, small business, and education
  • During law school, worked as a legal intern for former Senator Jim Bunning assisting in research for the Justice Sotomayor vetting process
