Columbia College Board Elects Nelson Mullins'
C.B. Smith as Chair
COLUMBIA, S.C. (September 13, 2016)–John C.B. Smith, of counsel in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Columbia office, has been elected to a four-year term as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Columbia College in Columbia, S.C.
Mr. Smith has a varied legal practice that includes alternative dispute resolution, business litigation, and corporate governance. He has served in a number of leadership positions in the community including as a former chairman of the University of South Carolina Educational Foundation Board and former chairman of the South Carolina Education Lottery Commission. He is also the owner of John C.B. Smith Real Estate in Columbia.
