Experienced Litigator Matt Mains Joins Nelson Mullins

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (June 1, 2017)–Experienced litigator I. Matthew Mains has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP as an associate in the West Virginia office where he represents clients in healthcare litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, and class actions and mass torts matters. He also advises business clients in commercial litigation disputes, as well as employment and intellectual property disputes.
Mr. Mains joins the Firm from a Huntington law firm and also has served as a principle research analyst for the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky. He also was a research specialist for both the Department of Pharmacology at the Medical University of South Carolina and the Department of Physiology at the University of Kentucky.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He also earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Biotechnology, magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky.
