Mark Sullivan Joins Nelson Mullins in Boston
Boston (September 20, 2016)–Mark E. Sullivan has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP as of counsel in the Boston office where he will focus his practice on tax law. Mr. Sullivan joins the firm from 35 years as in-house legal counsel at Bose Corp. His background includes intellectual property, real estate, insurance, privacy and data security, antitrust, and lobbying experience, among others.
Mr. Sullivan most recently served as vice president, chief legal officer, and secretary of Bose Corp. in Framingham, Mass., heading a department of 50 attorneys and legal staff for the multinational corporation with more than 20 subsidiaries and approximately 12,000 employees worldwide. Before that he was a certified public accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Sullivan currently serves as vice chair of the Board of Trustees at Suffolk University.
Mr. Sullivan earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance from Boston College, a Master of Business Administration from Babson College, a Juris Doctor from Suffolk Law School, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
