Nelson Mullins' Carl Fumarola Recognized
as Renaissance Associate

BOSTON (March 22, 2016)–For his outstanding performance in a number of areas, Boston associate Carl Fumarola has received the Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough 2015 Renaissance Associate Award. Selected by the partners and of counsels on the Associates Committee from associate nominees throughout the Firm, the award is given annually to the associate who best demonstrates overall achievement in the areas of client service, training/mentoring, marketing, recruiting, Firm involvement/commitment, pro bono, and productivity.

Mr. Fumarola joined the Litigation Group in the Firm's Boston office in November 2012.  He practices in the areas of commercial contract disputes, torts, construction and suretyship matters, personal injuries, admiralty and maritime law, insurance coverage disputes, and trust/probate litigation.

In 2015, Mr. Fumarola started a project to assist in creating a 501(c)(3) charity to build medical centers in Africa and participated in the Lawyers Have Heart charity race.   Additionally, he served as a mentor for the Boston office's summer program.

Mr. Fumarola earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Westfield State University in 2000. In 2003, he earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University. Mr. Fumarola is admitted to the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Bars.
