Nelson Mullins’ Jennifer Mallory to Moderate
Discussion of ‘Smart Fabrics’

ATLANTA (Jan. 12, 2017)–The collaboration of science and medical communities with the fashion industry is leading to a growing number of advanced solutions that can monitor a patient's medical and emotional condition through fabrics or devices. To help others understand how this intersection of science and technology can improve health outcomes, Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP and Conexx Women are partnering with a number of other organizations to present #CanYouFashionIt on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 6 p.m. at Nelson Mullins’ Atlanta office, 201 17th Street NW, 18th floor.

Nelson Mullins life sciences partner Jennifer Mallory will moderate a discussion among leaders of companies at the forefront of smart fabrics and wearable technology. Ms. Mallory practices in the areas of Food and Drug Administration counseling and compliance along with life sciences intellectual property and products liability litigation. Ms. Mallory has served as a member of the Institutional Review Board charged with review and approval of industry-sponsored drug and device clinical trials at the Medical University of South Carolina.
