Nelson Mullins' Mark Phillips Selected
for Two Leadership Positions

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Apr. 12, 2016)–G. Mark Phillips, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP's Charleston office, has been installed as president of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Charleston Chapter. He also recently was named vice chair of the S.C. Fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

ABOTA is an invitation only voluntary bar association that consists of no more than 5 percent of the members of the trial bar. The organization seeks to foster improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy. The American College of Trial Lawyers seeks to improve the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice through education and public statements on important legal issues relating to its mission, according to the organizations.
