Chris Casavale Joins Nelson Mullins’
Intellectual Property Team

Washington DC (March 9, 2017)– Christopher D. Casavale has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP as an associate with the Intellectual Property Group where he will concentrate his practice on trademark, copyright, domain name law, and strategic counseling. He is currently based in the Washington, DC office.

Mr. Casavale has experience managing, prosecuting, and maintaining U.S. and foreign trademark portfolios. He also has experience in researching and analyzing trademark availability opinions; preparing and prosecuting trademark applications, including drafting amendments and responses to examining attorneys; and trademark strategic counseling. He currently serves on the Internet Committee of the International Trademark Association.

Mr. Casavale earned his Juris Doctor degree from Catholic University of America and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University.
