Lynch Earns Jean Nunn
Excellence in Leadership Award
For her behind-the-scenes work supporting her team, Charleston paralegal Lauren Lynch has received the Firm's Jean D. Nunn Excellence in Leadership Award.
Her nomination reads: "Athletes have trainers. Actors and celebrities have make-up artists. Politicians have speech writers and campaign managers. All of these people work tirelessly behind the scenes so that the people in the public eye can be as productive and successful as possible. For our team, Lauren Lynch plays that role to perfection. She blazes away behind the scenes keeping us up to date on every case development and making sure we have everything we need to achieve the best possible results for our clients. That help often includes "reminders" to do things we had completely forgotten about or not even considered. Her ability to stay on top of so many different matters without being overwhelmed (even when everyone else is) is nothing short of remarkable.
"Lauren's work is invaluable to our team's success. Whether she is assisting with a complex commercial case for an institutional client or pro bono matter for the most unsympathetic client, she steadfastly delivers outstanding work. In fact, unlike the rest of us, Lauren seems to be immune from having a bad day. Her proactive approach keeps us one step ahead at all times. She usually assists us with deposition preparation, getting subpoenas together, drafting pleadings and making sure we are ready for every approaching deadline, but there is no task she will refuse to take on. Her effort consistently amazes us, and it reflects a true passion for her job. We believe that recognizing Lauren's great work with this award would be a fitting public tribute to the outstanding work she does behind the scenes every day."
