Jackson Wicker Joins Nelson Mullins in Raleigh
RALEIGH, NC (Oct. 15, 2012) – Jackson Wicker has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Raleigh office as an attorney. His practice focuses on business litigation.
Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Mr. Wicker served an internship with the North Carolina Commissioner of Banks where he assisted commission staff in analyzing allegation of unfair mortgage origination and servicing claims of state chartered banks. He also worked with the commission regarding comparison and implementation of the State and Federal S.A.F.E. Acts and the Housing and Urban Developments (HUD) final rule published in 2011. He also worked with the North Carolina State Treasurer's Investment Division, where he compiled, maintained, and analyzed completed financial deals.
He has experience assisting litigation attorneys with cases involving allegations of wrongful origination, servicing and foreclosure claims, alleged unfair trade practices, and Truth in Lending Act claims.
