GREENVILLE -- Reid T. Sherard, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Greenville office, has been elected to the S.C. Bar's House of Delegates for the 2012-2013 year. He will represent the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit beginning in July. 

The House of Delegates establishes policy for the Bar. It meets at least twice a year and includes delegates from each judicial circuit.

A native of Greenville, Mr. Sherard practices family law and litigation. In 2011, he completed the Houston Family Law Trial Institute and has tried cases in the family court as well as other federal, state, and local courts. In other S.C. Bar service, Mr. Sherard recently completed two terms as the elected representative for the 13th Judicial Circuit of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer's Division.
