Data Compliance: Getting the Most Out of Data – Legally

Nashville partners Roy Wyman and Jason Epstein will participate in an Association of Corporate Counsel Tennessee Chapter panel on how companies can manage data and stay legally compliant. Both are technology leaders in the firm, with Wyman co-chairing the Privacy and Security Industry Group and Epstein co-heading the Technology and Procurement Industry Group.

The panel will discuss what an increasing amount of information at hand means for companies that are trying to stay compliant. Wyman, Epstein, and other panelists will address how to track and manage data in such a way that pragmatically and flexibly balances these legal requirements with their customers' needs.

Wyman led the launch of Nelson Mullins' online HIPAA2Z tool, which is a healthcare data management tool that exemplifies a balance between compliance and accessibility for users. Epstein and his team provide legal services to buyers and sellers of technology, especially those that do much of their business in "cyberspace." Both speak and write frequently on their areas of practice.
